Bengaluru. The Indian IT Major, Infosys Ltd, on Tuesday placed the allegations relating to the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) made from anonymous sources, to audit committee for conducting investigation. The company in a letter addressed to the BSE Limited, National Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange limited, had communicated that one board member, had received two anonymous complaints, in September last, titled as disturbed unethical practices and whistle blower complaint and it would be dealt with an objective manner.

'The undated whistle blower complaint largely deals with allegations relating to the CEO’s international travel to the US and Mumbai'. The company had also stated that to ensure independent investigations the CEO and CFO had been rescued from this matter.
The Board, in consultation with the audit committee would take such steps as may be appropriate based on the outcome of the investigation, the company said. The letter had been sent to BSE, National Exchange and the New York Stock exchange, attributing to the company’s Chairman, Nandan Nilekani.
