Mumbai. The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday slipped by 144.52 points to 39,153.86 as selling was witnessed in IT, Utilities and Technology stocks. The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped by 13.60 points to 11,648.25.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 39,426.47 and 39,121.21 points respectively. The Nifty recorded day intra day high and low at 11,714.35 and 11,631.50 points respectively. The sectoral indices like IT, Utilities and Technologies pushed the market down in early trade.
The losers were Infosys by 14.52 pc to Rs 656.25, Tata Motors DVR by 3.75 pc to Rs 59.10 and HCL Technollogies by 3.26 pc to Rs 132.25.
The gainers were Yes Bank by 7.39 pc to Rs 55.20, Hero MotoCorp by 2.30 pc to Rs 2706.60, ICICI Bank by 2.19 pc to Rs 447.35 and Axis Bank by 1.52 pc to Rs 720.
