Hyderabad is growing as the hub for IT industry. Techies who come here for employment from different parts of the countries told TITA that they have a bit confusion over having own house in this city. They requested TITA president Sundeep Makthala to suggest a proper place with good transport facility, Airport connectivity, a good place which will be convenient to go to Bangalore in case of emergency.

By that time, there was a proposal to develop a Special Township exclusively for IT employees. So, taking into consideration these suggestions from the IT employees, TITA people have decided to develop at Thimmapur near muchhintal on Bangalore Highway. They have developed Digitown in 33 acres with more than 200 plots and inaugurated last year. It got a very huge response from IT employees.

Some techies have asked for farmhouse rather than just a home. So, Digitown 2.0 has been planned near Madduru which has connectivity to International Airport and Outer Ring Road, a TITA statement here said.

MR Sundeep explained that techies can book plots of 140 and 267 as per their requirement. Underground electric cables, 24 hours Wi-Fi, CCTV camera surveillance and other infrastructure has been developed in 50 acres according to IT employees’s opinions. IT employees can reach within 45 minutes from Gachibowli for this weekend home.

International meditation centre namely Kanha Shantivanam, Myhome city and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy’s spiritual centre also have connectivity to this venture as per the requirement of techies who work in Hyderabad and come from different parts of country and also from other corners of the world.

TITA global president Sundeep Kumar Makthala spoke that they have developed this Digitown 2.0 as the Digitown was completely successful, and the techies who live there have given several suggestions. He said that the model display house is ready and those who are interested can have a look at that.

He said that they will take-up many other projects in the near future. Mr Makthala explained that they have developed digitown according to the wishes of IT employees and to inculcate the Hyderabad Brand Image in the techies.
