New Delhi, Five Indians who had recently visited China were admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi on Sunday on suspicion of being infected with the corona virus. After admission of these people, the number of hospitalized people has increased to 13.
According to the hospital administration, samples of the newly admitted have been sent for examination. All the patients had visited China at the end of January and all are male. The administration said that samples of all patients have been sent for examination and their test report is awaited.
Earlier two Indians on February 1 and five on January 31, were admitted on suspicion of being infected with the virus. Apart from this, three patients were also admitted to RML on January 27, in whose test report no one has been found to be suffering from this virus.
In view of the danger of outbreak of Corona virus, the government has decided to check the health of every person who has come from China after January 15 and has asked those traveling from China to stay in their house for 14 days.
Air India's second special aircraft carrying 323 Indian nationals from Wuhan city of China reached New Delhi airport this morning. So far more than 300 people have died of this deadly virus in China, while a second positive case infected with this deadly virus was reported from Kerala today.
