New Delhi, AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and other BJP leaders to visit Shaheen Bagh and have a dialogue with the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act protesters and resolve their issues.
Replying to a question after launching 'Kejriwal Aap Ke Dwar' campaign here, Mr Kejriwal said, "BJP is doing politics over Shaheen Bagh. The road is blocked for many days now, creating so much problems to the locals. Law and order comes under the Union government. Therefore I urge the BJP to find out the solution of the issue."
"I urge people to protest under the Constitution," Mr Kejriwal added. He criticised BJP for holding press conferences, saying such conferences can not resolve law and order situation in Delhi.
"BJP leaders are busy in holding press conferences. Law and order can not be resolved through press conferences. I request the Union Home Minister, Mr Goyal and other BJP leaders to visit Shaheen Bagh and talk to the women who are protesting there for more than one month now and try to reopen the road," he added.
