Rio De Janeiro, Brazil head coach Tite on Friday added Botafogo right-back Marcinho to his squad for friendlies against Senegal and Nigeria in Singapore next month.
Marcinho replaces Juventus defender Danilo, who was cut from the squad because a hamstring injury, the Brazilian Football Confederation said in a brief statement.
Marcinho has made 44 Brazilian Serie A appearances since being promoted from Botafogo's youth academy in 2016. The 23-year-old from Rio de Janeiro has yet to represent his country at any level.
Brazil will meet Senegal at Singapore's 55,000-capacity National Stadium on October 10 and Nigeria at the same venue three days later.
The five-time world champions will play two more friendlies in November - their last outings before the South American zone's 2022 World Cup qualifying tournament kicks off next March.
