Washington. US President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that another prominent ISIS leader has been killed by the US military.
"Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s number one replacement has been terminated by American troops," Trump tweeted. "Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also dead!"
Mr Trump, however, did not give the name of the ISIS leader who was reportedly killed. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Islamic State chief, was killed in a US special forces raid in Turkey near the Syrian border on Saturday.
